I wonder if the pellets stopped him up. Ive heard of using peas as a laxative of sorts to keep fish and inverts digestive tracts flowing proper.

Looking good! Still really like those pothos, I am thinking of ordering a bunch of mangrove trees like I had in my reef tank and giving them a try. The root structures on the mangroves are really cool. I'm looking forward to my lil killers getting that size!

Not sure how they will work, no experience with them, but pothos are cheap, easily attainable and decrease nitrate levels. My whole set up was about 20$, you will love it!
