Looking for some approval or random suggestions for my new 130 gal-
72 by 18.5 by 23.
Im thinkin my stock list will be as follows -
2 mono a's
2 mono s's
3 or 4 archers
a figure 8 puffer
and 1 or 2 columbian sharks.
too much?
Compatability?

Pool filter sand and natural rock deco
I would love to have some live plants in here if anyone has any suggestions besides mangroves please let me know-
I already have 2 brak moray's and two toad fish in another tank so no more of those
Test fill tomorrow - will post pics soon

Sounds overstocked, when these fish are adults.

painted the back black today, Moved inside and added sand and water. Its settling now - wanna add fish so bad. I bought an orange chromide, 2 mono a's, 1 mono s. 2 gudgeon gobies and a green scat today, they are sittin outside in the garage and i know they wanna come in bad -

Tank is ready to go, i think - ammonia .25ppm - nitrate 5ppm - nitrite 0ppm - adding a cycled filter to the one already on it from my other tank as soon as i add fish, Does this sound like a good idea or should i wait to add fish??

Wait until your ammonia/nitrite both remain 0 at all times. No way this tank could be cycled & ready for fish in a day, if it's showing ammonia. What is your ammonia source?

filled with tap water and used prime - maybe not enough. I have a filter off my 100 gallon i am taking down - got rid of the fish that were in it and transferring that established filter to the new tank -

HI
i have a brackish setup 101 usg.SG about .08 ish ,with 4 scats 3 archers 3 mono's 3 f8's 2 rock gobies 1 knight goby and 3 orange chromides all living together very well. It is quite expensive though with all the water changes i have to do, marine salt isn't cheap. As for plants i'd go for plastic as the scats will eat most real plants unless u have a refugium then one of the few plants to grow well in brackish water is java fern's.I think the sharks are a no no in that size of tank as they will get to big

Your tank is extremely overstocked, when those fish reach adulthood. Just the scats (very messy fish--high waste producers), will need 50g ea. Monos grow as large as your outstretched hand. Most archers can reach a foot.

if you really set up the tank and bought fish to put in today, you will probably have dead fish unless you get one of those "instant cycle" chemicals.
