i just ordered a new 135 gallon from glass cages and im wondering what to stock it with i want to get a black aro and a clown knife fish but idk what else what should i use as far as filters go i looked into this penn plax canister filter anyone have one is it any good? so any advice you can give me will help thanks

penn plax are decent but the rena filstars are a much better filter imo for a 135 id go for the xp4 model. even the xp3 would suffice xp4 is 179.99, the xp3 is only 99.99 both at drfostersmith.
If I were you I would go with an Emperor 400 power filter, and a Filstar Xp3. Combined they would give you 750 G.P.H. (working at optimum Level) which would be 5X and 85 Gallons of turnover for your tank. If you want you can add another Xp3 as your fish get bigger to keep the water pristine. I know it sounds like alot but at drsfostersmith.com you can get these two filters for 146.98 which is less than most canister filters with equal G.P.H. But look around on that site and look at the canister filters and read the reviews it help alot. Gl with your new tank
