for a 29 g tank look into some of the dwarf julidichromis species.

for the 29 i probably would not put any mbuna in there-maybe a dwarf species would work though. i love the rusties, so maybe a pair of them, or like everyone else said go with lake tanganyika dwarf species (the julies are pretty and would work).

i like the german rams, you could research them and see if a pair would work in there with plants and sand..

if you want africans in a 15, why not go with tanganyikan shell dwellers? They are small, interesting african cichlids that can thrive in a smaller tank

If you went with shellies in a 15 you would need to have a species only tank of something really small. Multies perhaps...
