Hello Everyone,
Kind of a newbie to the hobby, although I have had a cichlid tank for 7 years.
I had a 90 gallon tank for years.
It contained 3 red devils, a black belt, numerous parrots and hybrid parrots, rainbow and a pleco.
Never had problems. My hybrids were born and raised in the tank.
Anyway, my wife and I just purchased a new 180 gallon tank.
I have added 2 green terrors babies, a baby oscar a small JD.
I have ordered from Jeff Rapps a 3 inch Jag, 3 inch Festae and a 3 inch female dovii. They are arriving tomorrow.
The tank has about 250 lbs of mexican lava rock. Plenty of hiding places.
My 9 inch red devil rules the tank but he isn't too authoritative. Occasionally runs off intruders, but not very often.
I am hoping that my new monster fish fit in well with the others. If they do not, I will eventually purchase a new tank.
Give me your thoughts and opinions please!
