Not derail your thread. But i will soon be dealing with the same issues and am planning on whole home filtration. Thats stuff freaks me out man i worry more about my kids too but yeah the fish as well lol
 
Yea, it sure stinks. I don't have any kids, so it makes the entire process not quite as bad. Good luck mate! I hope things go ok for you.

Just curious, do you mind enlightening us as to how to got a free brand new 180? If you'd rather not say, that's ok.
 
I actually had another tank from them, but one of the seams wasn't right. They had no issues covering it and sending a new tank but I changed up some features. I didn't want to say only because their service and tanks are top notch and built so strong. Was just a freak thing. No hassles and didn't have to pay shipping either.
 
Got the tank yesterday. Looks amazing. 5 of us moved it, but it wasn't easy even with the suction cups, but they sure helped. Got plumbing finished and ready to go. Also found a marble male, fully mature and 12", so he is living in the sump for now. The sump has been running with the 120 so everything is cycled. Was lucky to find him, he is amazing and ate 5 earthworms yesterday.

I am going to try Red Irian Rainbowfish with him. They get 5-6" and he shouldn't grow much more, so I hope he doesn't eat them! Problem is I ordered some and they are only 1.5". With the black back and bottom red fish should be striking with him.
 
Thanks! I am actually surprised how much I like the eurobracing. It's right next to the full rimless and honestly I can't say I like one better than the other looks wise.
