Creek was running good, so had to fish the other end where the current wasn't bad, I tore them up. I got 13 keeper Longears and one shiner. I also caught a 13" bullhead but I don't want them, I want Madtom's, also caught some Green Sunfish but didn't really care for their looks and they weren't really that big. They are in the tank now, soon as they settle I will take a video. :)

Awesome....I love Longears, I used to give my sunnies freeze dried bloodworms and homegrown scuds along with pellets to keep there colors and health vibrant.

I'm going to visit a paylake tomorrow to pickup an Israeli carp for a good bottom feeder and see if they have anything else that fits in my tank. Would love to find an eel :)

Was headed out today for some Rock Bass, but again a storm rolled through just as I was about to leave so that got put on hold till Sunday or during the week. Also during next week I will hit a lake that is loaded with Warmouth's

i like your shiner too, although I don't know what kind it is (its moveing too quickly in the video), more shiners would be a cool addition also

My favorite shiner is the steel color shiner. When I look closer art the shiner I have, it looks dead on it, but its smaller than the last steel shiner I had so not really sure yet. There is a fish hatchery here too I may visit tomorrow to pick up a few Redear's, Perch and Crappie.

The shiner I have now, its tail is edged in white just like the one below, same with top and bottom fins, its head looks like rough sandpaper, it just the color and the top fin isn't as tall as the on pictured below.

I like those shiners, how big do they get, we have some beautifull shiners around here like the Bleeding, Cardinal etc. but nothing that looks like that one, my favorite is just the plain old common and golden shiners just because they are not only hardy but have neet spawning behaviors.

Nice looking fish, your shiner looks like it could a Spotfin Shiner.Hard to tell for sure though.

Tanks looking good man! Hope you can get out there and catch some nice rock bass and war mouth soon
