That's big one?

I think I fell in love with your girlfriend...

That's big one?

Yea for around here, state record for KY is 1lb 10oz, I think its my biggest ever. My hand is 8" long, the rock bass was longer than my hand. He made it through the night and is doing well as of this morning. The hole I usually fish for them really isn't producing the numbers it used too. I was fishing about 1 foot deep and catching mostly Green Sunfish, few longears, so then I dropped it another foot, and then nailed this fish. I knew it was larger than normal when I saw it in the water coming to me, luckily it didn't swallow the hook and it was gently hooked in the thin layer of skin in its mouth, so minimal damage. If I had a certified digital food scale I would weigh it.

I usually get rock bass that is over 13' easily but they are usually found in deep parts of the lakes.

Nice Rock bass.....we find ours near stumps and most average about 5-10 inches, although I have seen them get over 12 inches long before here in the Ozarks they are rare.
