New 225 finished background paint

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I just painted my 125 gallon tonight. 3 coats of rust-oleum universal formula flat black. The stuff went in smooth, stuck, and dried within an hour a coat.
Pictures to come when light is better tomorrow

I have 2 dual 48" T5 HO w/ a 10K and an actinac in each and i really like the look, especially with fish that have blue like my p-bass and black aro. i agree....just actinac is too much

it sure can be a big PIA especially if it's been sitting in a warehouse collecting dust

I like just driftwood. In all my tanks (except my breeding tank), it's either driftwood or nothing (minus sand) and maybe a few river rocks

yeah the antics don't look bad at all, but it depends on what you have. at least IMO

yeah i think either plane driftwood or none looks good. i just think i dont have all the patience with taking care of a planted tank.

I love the look of your tank but is it possible to raise the water level?

I think u can just a 90 degree elbow to inside tank bulkhead and point it upward to raise water level. There might be other ways but i'm not sure. Personally I like the way it is.
