Picked up my new 72x30x25 225 wide last and installed the background last weekend. Ran the beananimal style overflows, filled the tank and tested for leaks this weekend. Everything checks out and plan to tear down my 125 and move in the new tank next weekend.

Filter sock holder and as almost finished

Pic 1 - filter sock holder(1 of 3, 2 on full siphon and 1 on channeled siphon). The outside columns were finished to the top
Pic 2 - water was loud entering the overflow box so I added some matting and its nice and quiet.
Pic 3 - ready to be drained, disassembled and put into use.

My 225 is 72"x27.5"x27.5" and I would love your dims instead. Anyways, love the tank and the 3d bg. Keep us updated with progress!

Lucky my 220's like 72x24x30 or something. How much gph are you expecting through the pump?

I have a laguna maxflo 2900, figured flow to be in the 2000-2200gph range after 5' of head loss and 4 90s.

Looks like a solid build that will last for a long time! Great tank with good flow!
