Sorry guys - a tank like this has no business being stocked with monster predators. As it's on display for his customers, it needs to be pristine. Monsters will make a mess of that tank in a hurry, and since it's viewed from all 4 (8?) sides, there is no hiding it.

I see a freshwater plant tank as being the best choice for this setup, by far. Maintenance can be reasonable, you can stock it with a variety of active vibrant colored fish, and the aquascape can be jaw dropping if done right. Check out Oliver Knott's website for a few ideas.

Don't know about any of you guys, but If I dropped almost 25 grand on a MONSTER tank like that I would have already figured out what was going in it in advance LOL. That is CRAZY nice...

I agree with planted tank, but if it were me I would go the extra mile and make a SW reef tank starting out with corals:drool: . Then integrating some small reef fish after a while. Craig's list and a willingness to travel will get you a bunch of SW stuff, most poeple give up on the reality of a long term wallet sucker like a SW tank LOL. "SW tank for sale...with fish, equipment cheap!"

sw with red lions, panther and bumblebee groupers to show eating power!!!!  :screwy:

Depends on the monsters, lol. 8"-12" fish and lots of plants in that tank, with maybe a larger mellow fish or 2, sweet. For it's size the tank is fairly narrow so no huge fish, lots of movement and color for public display, no serious predators, hmmm. Looks like Booger is on the right track, but with that foot print there is room for a sand bed as well as gravel and that means one or 2 of these (maybe?).

As an aside, heya Booger, long time no see.
