Any pics?
Current or old, for older start at post #47, this thread.

a whole school of fast moving fish the kind that dart around together...like small shad

What IS going on with this tank anyway? ANY progress?

A school of black bar silver dollars would be gorgeous along with whatever else - maybe 3 to 5 Tinfoil Barbs. 2 Iridescent Sharks would be a very nice touch, also.

i would go with a bunch of knife fish...

but i would plant the hell out of it... the customers would love it and it would look so nice

Sorry guys - a tank like this has no business being stocked with monster predators. As it's on display for his customers, it needs to be pristine. Monsters will make a mess of that tank in a hurry, and since it's viewed from all 4 (8?) sides, there is no hiding it.

I see a freshwater plant tank as being the best choice for this setup, by far. Maintenance can be reasonable, you can stock it with a variety of active vibrant colored fish, and the aquascape can be jaw dropping if done right. Check out Oliver Knott's website for a few ideas.

Just spent half an hour going through the pics on that site.....what a lot of work, but what great results! That WOULD look amazing in Blakers tank - planted tanks with Discus never looked so good! A compromise between that style of set up and one that wouldn't get destroyed by bigger fish would be awesome.

Schools of Freshwater barracudas would look awesome like 3 different types: I.E. Redtails, yellowtails, maybe some hujetas get like 9 of each and maybe throw in a large pike to have the bottom level... feeding would be a sight to be seen throw in like 100 feeders once a week and watch the Fiesta = ]

personally if it was my tank i'd prolly throw a HUGE snakehead in there = ]

Here are a couple of new pix. Drained a few hundred gallons and built out walls around it. Next comes big rocks driftwood and starting the filter.
