New 24 foot tank...need stocking advice

...and/or altums.:D A shoal of 1000 cardinals would also be quite nice.:D
 
i would stock that swimming pool with red terrors, flowerhorns, convicts, chocalate cichlids ,jack dempseys and electirc blue dempsey if u can get your hands on them. use plenty of driftwood,rocks n plants for cover.:nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly: :nilly:
 
a pair of Giant Snakeheads woulve been great too tho

How are the plants going to survive those fish?:eek: Those critters won't take a second to think it over whether to spare the plants or not.:eek:
 
Plant the heck out of that tank, and then get a couple different colored arros to glide through. Like dragons flying through the trees.

Plants do just fine in my 800 with all kinds of big cichlids. They don't even take a second look at them. It's only when the cichlids are confined and can't "stretch their legs"
