I finally decided to replace my old 20gal L, it still holds water but the top frame is screwed. so I checked a few LFS's near me an ended up going to Petco an getting a 29Gal for 45.00 . I went with a 29gal cause I could use the glass hood an wood canopy I made ( http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9396 ) that I had on the 20gal l.

Im prolly going to use it as a small grow out tank. I saw some small clown loachs an a few small plecos a few days ago.

Sweet idea. Only thing is that the Clown Loaches take such a long time to grow to any real size.

make it a saltwater tank

Saltwater is to costly an time consuming IMO.
