new 40g breeders at my LFS go for $109 canadian.
if you are buying second hand you can get it for much cheaper.
but thats only if you don't mind used stuff.
you probably won't be able to get it brand new for used prices..unless your LFS has a clearance sale or something.

I'm really surprised that everyone thinks that the price is high! A 30 gallon of that size goes for about $120-130 new here in the Twin Cities! I'm jealous of all the deals you guys get in your areas!
