He is a wild channel cat, he will just play in them, granted he is somewhat young right now but the plants are good for him to play in, he will go into a bigger tank when he is older anyway so i wont have to worry about that for now. but i understand where you are coming from.

I was more focused on the nice skulls..do you hunt? The tank also is pretty nice looking but a few plants don't hurt. Also what kind of cat is that?

This tank is at my friends house, those are his fathers elk, one scores around 186 and the other scores around 263. I do hunt yes, but those are his haha. and the Cat is a Channel cat my buddy caught in Indiana. We decided to but it in my tank because it is the second biggest tank in the house, it would be in his 110 but he has piranhas and the cat wouldnt last to long, so it is now a happy inhabitant of this tank haha.

they don't score around 186 and around 263. that is there official score. and im his friend. lol

yeah, those are impressive skulls. as for the plants, I have never seen bamboo grow fully submerged, I have grown them before, but only with the leaves emerged from the water. I'd say a good next step would be to get a background on that tank. I always wanted a tank designated for a big cat. those things grow fast. Enjoy.

Didnt mean to get the bamboo haha... and yes i am going to get a full black background, just takin this one step at a time lol
