Well sand is a more natural substarte for corys but a smooth gravel can/will work. You could do a small smooth gravel.
Plecos don't care slong as it is smooth for them too.
What is the complete stocking plan again?

Yes theres some plants in now on eco complete substrate. Currently houses 2 Koi Angels. More than likely will be adding a few elec blue acara, 2 BN plecos, possibly a red tail shark, 5-6 corys to start over the next few months. Tank is only 5 weeks old so will be adding slowly

I agree with the rams. I have a pair in a a 40 gallon community tank and was nervous but they like everybody but each other. It's funny to see them joust in the middle of the tank. The jd wouldn't add as much enjoyment. Imho.
Very nice but they aren't kio. The first one may have the kio genes but doesn't have enough gold/orange and marble to be a true kio. Looks like a gold marble to me. A kio is a blushing gold marble and it doesn't appear to be blushing but it can be hard to tell when they reach maturity,
Second one is FAR form a kio. Id say silver ghost. What happened to the dorsal?

Honestly have no idea. Never had an indoor aquarium before just a backyard koi pond for years. My fiancé uncle gave us the angels recently we have only had them a week. They were in a classroom tank and he just retired this year in the middle of all this covid-ness. One of our friends told us they were koi’s??. We did notice the one has a few battlewounds on its fins but again no idea what happened
