New 5gal hex tank

Thanks. I like the male and the females colorations. I was just at my lfs and i bought some sinking shrimp pellets and a new ornamentation that my male bettas tank mates would probably love. Beside the male betta is getting mad at the rock thats in there he flares up and attacks it. I think because my ram plays hide and seek behind it.

let me get this right, a 5 gallon hex with a male and female betta plus a ram... and no one is flaming yet. even if the male and female dont go near each other one is stressed.. trust me. add the ram..id get a gallon conatainer you have and seperate the 2, for short turn untill you get another tank and well the ram needs to go. IMO you rescued the fish but seems someone should rescue them from you, sorry to sound mean but dang
 
Thanks for the advice. I was thinking the ram needs to go for sure but with the replies i received ill give it a little time to check it out. I guess it all depends on my male bettas temperment.

So i put this new texas holy rock in the tank. It seems to have abundant cover for my male bettas tank mates as well as multiple cave openings to establish territory.uploadfromtaptalk1355188231482.jpguploadfromtaptalk1355188381555.jpg
