reason i swapped it with ryan is because i've bought a new house and it really cannot fit in there so had so sacrifice it for a smaller one !!! it broke my heart handing it over !!!

cool, that is a nice sized tank mate.

seeing "real" tin foil barbs is cool and seeing 2x silvers in 1 tank is also nice, and from the looks you got it cleaning up fast ???my old FX5 would have done the same??? you running your fx5?

hoods fine just move the hindges and they screw in easy enough! they were in full tack in the van they came off due to my poor loading use some no more nails to help fix them solid

as for the fx5 not a noisy filter IMO i had it in my living room and didn't hear nothing until i opened the doors and then all you could hear was the gentle whooshing of the water cycling round the system
