Hey guys I'm new to the forums, just got into fish a few months ago, decided to get a 70 gallon tank used with all the equipment I'll list below. The tank is roughly 1.5ft deep 3ft wide and 2.5ft tall (rough estimate). Anyways I'm trying to decide how to decorate it and how many fish i can get.
So my plans are
- Millenium 3000 hang on back filter in the left corner
- 400w heater (forgot the brand) in the bottom right corner against the back
- A piece of driftwood about 8 inches tall and a foot long diagonally placed in the left corner
- A wall bubbler about a foot long diagonally in the right corner
- A pile of river rocks about a foot high in the right corner over the bubbler. This will be combined with the heater for a cool effect that circulates heat as well (I'm assuming that works)
- 1 3 foot tall plant in the back left corner and a 1 foot plants in front of the rocks and the driftwood (all plastic)
I eventually plan on getting another filter don't know what type for the right top side.
I plan on putting 10-20 African Cichlids in the tank 2 rubber lipped plecos and a striped raphael cat fish.
Does this sound like a good setup? any tips appreciate the help thanks!
