New 75g Piranha Tank!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hope so! Still super scared of even the smallest movements. hahah here's a couple more of them, I need some drift wood and more plants for sure. They are a little nippy but seem to all be getting along overall pretty well. Hopefully all five stay alive and don't kill anyone!!

Looks great!

I have guppies in my p tanks. They spawn so fast that they cant all be eaten! Fry are tiny

Focus on getting them on a good diet of pellets, worms and fish fillet!

×Go S. Vettel #1 Infiniti Redbull! 4x WDC!!! Congrats on another flawless title and 9 wins back to back in 1 season (record!) See you next year in Australia boys!×

Not shrimp or silversides??

Both are fine IMO but some say market shrimp are more of a treat then a staple. Silverslides are good because its the whole fish (bones and all)

Ive always kept ghost shrimp in all my p tanks because they are great cleaners and are an occasional snack. Anything you can get to breed in there will work(guppies, mollies, tetras, cons etc) like i said before guppies ime are easy and they give your piranhas something to chase so they pay less attention to eachother.

So its been about two months now since I got the five babies... I still have all five and rarely see any aggression so far between them.. Been doin water changes about every two weeks (been working 55 hour weeks, do them when I can). They have good growth and are starting to get their red bellies! I'm hoping all five can end up living happily. The issue I'm having though... I live in Colorado where I am allowed to have them, but I'm moving to south Florida in June for school.. Is there any scenario where I can take them with me??

They look good and healthy! But 90 USD for 5 reds? I didn't know reds were such big business in the states! Here in Holland we pay +/- 25 USD for 5 reds.

you almost definitely won't be able to take them with you.

Yeah either selling them or I'll have my dad take care of them. He's got multiple saltwater tanks we take care of together and I trust him more than someone on Craigslist.... Plus when I visit home I can see them!!!
