New 95G tank, can't decide between Midas or Flowerhorn

I haven't thought about a trimac! Thank you.

Seems like fh is pretty much defeated xD. I am leaning towards Midas. My lfs got some sweet ones the previous week. Are there any bottom feeders that could go with Midas? I was thinking about 2 synodontis eupterus I have and maybe an L114? Is this going to work or do I ask for too much?

To the catfish question, you'd be fine as far as bioload assuming your filtration is solid. Your Midas/Trimac will decide whether it's actually ok. As always, raise them together if you can and give them hiding places. Many people say the cichlids are more interactive without any tankmates, though.

I'd go the Midas/Trimac route too. Both are great wet pets and have tons of personality. Given the known temperament of each, I'd suggest no tank mates personally.

FH's get beat out simply because most of the people on this forum are Anti-hybrids. Some want to compare to a personality of a Midas to a FH? I honestly prefer FH's personalities simply because they are so aggressive... I personally think FH's are way more colorful than any Midas will ever be. However, 50/50 for me. You can't go wrong with either.
