It's a peppermint shrimp... Do they clean fish?

The mandarin was out and about this am... He was nipping at things on the LR... Seems a-ok so far

Good to hear about the mandarin, and YES! Peppermint shrimp are lysemata and I think that every single one of them clean fish.

Blood fire shrimp will clean, and coral bandeds will even clean...although I have never seen that in aquaria.

"Cleaner Shrmips" are just the most popular because they do it most consistently.

huh...ya learn something new everyday...

Side note... any point to having a "cleaner shrimp" in my tank?

Also how often should I be supplementing copepods? I poured a whole jar in there yesterday but you can't really see those things so I don't know when to add more
