New Addition - Platinum Red Tail Cat - 6-7"

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks all! He has traveled from Singapore in the past week through Jesse in FL, to me in MN on Wed. night. I have been trying to get one for a couple years. He is the most expensive fish I have ever owned, but it is one of those that is so unique I couldn't pass it up. I had to make the decision to purchase in about 3 hours...the last one I found I waited a day and lost the opportunity. He has a small amount of dark area where the plate is in front of his dorsal fin (in these photos), but that has almost disappeared since he settled in over the past day. I will keep the updates coming on him. Let me know if anyone else is interested in one and I can get you in touch with someone who may be able to get another. As far as I know this was the only one available now.

Updated video of this little guy. He has settled in a bit now and he is solid white/light yellow, plump, and doing well.

Dude!...He looks awesome! Im so happy he's settled in so well. Soon he will be a tank buster! It was an absolute pleasure dealing with you. I'm glad I was able to help make your dream come true :)

Anyone interested in one please contact me. Right now I have some short bodied ones available. They are pricey. I also have some decent size Goonch catfish and tigrinus coming in late May.
Jesse

Jesse was great to work with - he found the cat, secured it for me, and quickly imported and shipped it to me. The whole process took about 3 weeks (extremely fast for an international order of 1 fish). He has some good new sources for really rare fish out of Asia as well.
