Yea we did not have an incu ready . we had the container in the reptile rack and monitored the tempt all the time, just shows u how tough the leo eggs are.. as for water dripping , never saw any ,just condensation on the sides.
guess u can call it an incubator , more of an ghetto bator idea, Anyways ill i did was use a small deli container with lid ,cut a small hole in the lid for a probe from an thermometer.Had some moist sand on the bottom of the deli container and egg crate (used for lighting) to form a platform for the eggs never to contact the water . and just kept the container at 82-89 F for 37 days or so . the higher of those temps u get males the closer to the low u get females. I actually have an other cooking right now in the same manner . gotta buy an incu soon or build one .
BTw i placed this in my reptile rack near the heat tape and monitored the temps constantly , im just lucky my room stays around the same temp all the time .
Sorry I missed this post. I have about a dozen crested babies for sale. Stay tuned for an updated photo thread in the MFK Buy & Sell section.
I still have the willamsi and I'm still working on hatching their eggs. 2/3 of the eggs seem to develop full term only to die in the egg before hatching. I don't know what's up with that. It's said that the eggs aren't suppose to come in contact with water or get wet and they don't, but I wonder if they aren't humid enough or something.
I don't have the leo anymore. I sold it a few months ago. It was a Tangerine x Wild that was 50% het for Bell Albino.
