yea i thought it was a male too. if it wasnt then i kamfa wouldnt be very aggressive towards it. by the way. how the female doing chris.

it very skittish still in the hospital tank. very scared of people since my hospital tank is low. cannot tell if she is fully healed since she hides on the corner everytime I come close to the tank.
 
ahh ic. i think im just gonna give up with the breeding if it happens it does if not oh wells. dang i dont know how people do it. or maybe its just my bad luck with a pair. by the time your female heals i hope by red dragon be as big as the female. and give it a shot then. i give up for now. LOL. once i get rid of the 2 ill get some frys from you and i can breed those maybe.

best bet for you paul is to keep at least 10 fry's and let them pair off. I have some of my kgm that paired off by them selves. they are only 3-4 inches and laying eggs already but off course its not hatching coz the male is too young but at least they are already paired off and ready for breeding once it reached the maturity for the male. :)
 
wow 3 inches and they are going at it already?. lol nice. yea im gonna try to get variety like last time and see if they pair off then. buying separate male and female is hard work. and most of time failed for me. i dont know how you do it chris. LOL.
 
thx. yea im glad this male/female thing is settled. my kamfa was going ape sh*t on the gml. it knocked down the eggcrate and started pwning the fish after i blocked it off for the 2nd time.
 
OOO sorta like that ZZ malau remember??? only its teal/green....

are u keeping him in ur 60 gallon or the 100?
 
its in the 60 with my kamfa with dividers, i cant put it in the 100 gallon its gonna kill off all my babies. :( the divider was knocked down in the 60 and the two flowerhorn was going at it like UFC. LOL.
 
Sorta like my situation today..

I finally removed the 2 oscars and placed them outside my 40

i was watching which fish would attack which and the ZZ malau and the Vieja were REALLY going at it.. same with the Golden Platium and the Red Dragon..

I finally decided to do something i hate.. i put the red dragon with my silver and redid my bottom tank.. my Female JD is now dominating the Red Dragon....

But sadly.. the Malau just can't hang with anyone.. other than Oscars....:(
