Thanks for the nice comments.

I was amazed at his growth rate although he is the dominant fish and makes sure he is the first one to get his belly filled.

I hate how my camera drains the colour from him though. My aquarium lights are not bright enough to take pictures without the flash.

Its a light sand bottom with a small amount of crushed shells. I have alot of bogwood which lowers my PH so I put crushed shells in the substrate to compensate.

I just picked up two from my local fish shop three weeks ago and they cost about USD1.00 each. The size is about 2 inches.

I have seen bigger ones in other fish shop and it can grow to a feet long.
