New additions for pond

I couldn’t help myself, I saw these guys last week when I stopped in the pet store and had to go back for them.

They are in qt for now, but once they are cleared they will go to the pond.

Not yet. I put sterling out a week ago and then quickly decided they are just too small and the water was too murky at that time. It has since cleared up, but I have 5 green terrors that got loose in there. I can’t let my fancies go till I remove them.

Picked these guys up last week.
Asagi
Ogon (Hopefully will be a yamabuki)
And a Gin Rin Soragoi

All pond grade, but I’m excited. These guys were all high on my wish list.

I wanted some better pictures of my soragoi, so I netted it out. Fingers crossed it’s a female.
Right around 6”



It still needs a name. “Steel” pops in my head every time I see it.
The sparkling scales really make it show up nicely in the pond. It is easily my favorite koi right now.

I know I’ve heard the name, but I’m drawing a blank on who it is. Lol

I’ve never posted videos before. I wish we could post them right on here instead of having to use YouTube.

I thought one of the koi looked like it had red in its fins, so everyone had a health check this morning.
I kinda like that the orange on the back is fading out.

I just love this guy so much

My husbands butterfly. I hate to tell him, but it looks like it has yellow starting on its nose

This one reminds me of a koi we lost. Only it isn’t deformed like she was.
My daughter picked it out.

My other daughter picked this one out. I’m liking it more and more as it grows.

And my son picked this one. Not a fan. It’s so muddy looking.

And my two fancies. I’m kinda disappointed they really haven’t put on any size. In fact they don’t seem to have grown much, if at all.
