lol hhmm, im really curious why ure albinos didnt make it. have u ever tried earthworms on them? they would go crazy for it. and also they made my albino addicted to it. tht's him on my avatar pic. :)
 
Well this time my albinos are still alive so far this morning I finally got them to eat a little bit after trying everything I know of so far I've tried baby brine shrimp, mysis shrimp ,bloodworms ,tubifex worms ,spirinula flakes , tiny bits of tilapia I mean very tiny, crushed up hikari cichlid gold and cichlid staple,hard boils egg yolk , etc..this is just to name a few ((I know some of the foods I've tried weren't ideal or necessicarily too good for them like the tilapia and such but thy looked like they were skinny down to the bone !)) and out of everything that I've tried guess what they ended up liking..........guess.......tiny bits of cut up hikari jumbo carnisticks!!!! I can't beleive it they go nuts for it I'm not sure if it's too good because of lots of calories but that's the ONLY thing they will eat everything else they just mouth it and then spit it out.

tht is a big menu for 1 type of fish. wow ! instead of meaty food, try veggies. lol i was too late to feed him veggies, he just spits it out when i give him some. hahhah but since u just bought your oscars try to feed them tht before it's too late. and also i heard people feed them oranges. oscars need lots of vitamin C . :)
 
Ok will do it seems like they will eat only enough to get by and then swim around together and then eat again I offer foods 3-4 times a day just to try and beef them up to ensure survival I will try veggies but I ant least want to know they will make it do you know what I am saying. ? But thank you for the advice I had the same problem with my old O he would never even think about looking at vegitables and fruits he would just ignore them :D

That's the thing they just feel it around in their mouths and spit it out this kind of behavior never happened to me in the past with O's they have always usually been willing to eat now they just eat the tiny cut up bits of hikaricarnisticks and they won't eat enough to round their bellys they will eat a little swim around a whole lot together and then they will eat a little more swim around for a long time again and eat a little more I guess the good thing is they are eating something. These are the smallest oscars I've ever had they look bigger in the pics but really in real life perspective they are mabye just a tad over 1/2 inch

yeah sure. but to me, the best thing to make your oscar live is to get attached to it and he feels the same way too. let him bite your finger once in a while. lol the healthier the fish, the hungrier it'll get. :thumbsup: good luck with them though.
