I love the S. Decorus. I had one that was temporarily housed with an Euruptus before being moved to the graveyard. Euruptus killed it :swear:
Some synos are ruthless. It's usually about territory which is a very small area compared to other fish, usually a single hide spot. I've had my orange squeaker kill a pleco and my gold nigrita will chase any other syno for a long time if one enters it's "hide". It will actually go into other hide areas the offending syno tries to go in for at least 30min afterwards. Eventually it goes back to it's spot and settles down. Polys and ropefish it doesn't mind. But I have 5 other synos 3types that share a single large piece of mopani including the orange squeaker.

Synos are pretty mean sometimes, my ocellifer is the tank boss and hates the decorus, fortunately it hasn’t singled it out

Some Synodontis are loners and territorial like eupterus. Some are social and like a group like lucipinnis, multipunctatus and polli.
