yeah it's not a palmas. it's definetly a lower jaw bichir most likely a lapradei. i think it might have some external gills still.

yea i did notice that it still had a little bit of its external gills left........is that a bad thing? cuz when i bought my ornate and senegal they never had it.........

no actually those are pretty cool too have. never had one to be that size and still have some left. they usually go away at around 6 inches.

yea i did think they went away when they were smaller..........but thats cool anyway i still like it a lot.........
