While alittle off topic I don't mind it =P hoping that the introduced young factor along with larger tanks on their way in the future the Bleekeri will be ok with its CA/SA tank mates. I've actually seen them in several tank mixed with these types of fish, though the tanks were all well over 200 gallons.

you have a solid plan -- just need to observe. EBs are generally pretty docile compared to other cichlids ... but as with any cichlid tank, you'll want to assure that there are plenty of hiding places ... and watch the tank closely. Resetting the tank layout is a good idea.

Haha, I wish that was the problem (not really though) my EBJD is more or less top dog in my 55. If the bleekeri doesn't suprise him, he's more than willing to go jaw to jaw (bleekeri then decides he'd rather just stay in his cave) and with gill flaring from my EBJD my normal Jack Dempsey will move to the other side of the tank. In my 37 my EBJD doesn't seem to get picked on either. I pray that sexual maturity of my tank doesn't make them the wusses of the tank... But no, their current problem is that they are spoiled =S

I derped. Thought I was responding to my food change thread, though the things about the EBJD still aply.
