i know peanut the pics arent the greatest but thats what i was emailed he will be here friday.. supposedly 15" and a red pike I will take better pics when i get him home

That seriously looks like a Crenicichla sp. 'venezuela' like rasdbo said. The eye, color, and thickness all point in that direction anyway. Crenicichla johanna typically have a more blunt snout...typically.... Be sure to look at the caudual fin/base of the tail....if there is a dot, its a sp. 'venezuela' ....no dot, probably johanna.
