nice so $7.50 was a deal on it...the guy at the store didn't know what it was thats why i thought it was an albino red...but the black on the fins is what made me think it was more and my push to get it...i got the albino tiger cause i like groups of fish...

yeah they usally go for 12 to 15 bucks as babies so you look out big time nice grab .i alsohave a red long finned oscar ill post pics soon and i payed 25 bucks to get him as a baby ..my fish store new what they had and wasnt planing on letting it go without raising the price .GOOD LUCK i hope he grows big and healthy

yeah and they usually dont live very long either its really sad you can search on here for it there was a long thread about it not too long ago, but yeah cool find then sbuse thats why i was kind of confused by it as well as all albinos iv seen in stores were always the albino tigers

blueberry oscars are DYED!! please dont buy them, and their color fades after awhile as well so they dont stay that color

i knew that they were dyed...they are reg oscars dyed blue and it doesn't take long to fade...my friend works at a pet store that gets them in and the charge more for them till they lose their color then they put them in the reg. oscar tank...

thats really sad and misleading as these fish are then very unhealthy, im sure most pet stores that get these does this though, would hate to go in and buy a normal albino only to find it die prematurely because it had been dyed :(

i have seen some albino reds but not alot and the orange wasn't this strong at the same size...they didn't have black also...as albinoism is the lack of pigment and the black shouldn't have been there...

he told the owners not to do that and not to order them but they don't listen

yeah thats why i only said that to the blueberry part, the others are just selectively bred for those colors
