new alligator hatchling has fungus or somthing

sorry havent been here in a while the gator is doing great he's eating crikets like there going out of style but their more healthy then goldfish. i will get some pics up when i get a chance

Don't think crickets are that appropriate for a foot long gator. Don't they eat them whilst considerably smaller?

madagascan hissing cockroaches and rodents would be a better food item imo

I made the same mistake and my alligator arrived today with fungus like fuzz. What did you end up doing to treat?

Do alligators get mouth rot like boa's do? I had a boa that had mouth rot and the vet gave me some type of antiseptic that I would squirt in its mouth and it got better. It'd be nice to hear what was the cause and solution in this case.

None of this sounds right. If I had an alligator, and I do not, he would be getting fish fillets, not fatty goldfish. Also would not be getting crickets at this size... Hope you have a bigger home for this thing, once it's 10 feet long.
