thanks for all the replies i believe i will invest in the 55. now as far as pairing off will a vieltail pair with a nonvieltail angel? and at what size should i expect them to pair. right now their in a tank with neons glowlights zebra danios and one large cory...but i believe the cory will be the only one of those to join them in the bigger tank

thanks for all the info guys i purchased 75 gallon instead of the fifty five and only paid bout 50 bucks more i also got a marineland emperor 400 but im worried about the flow on the angels. they are rather decent size by now and im hoping i might be able to get away with it. will hopefully get pics up soon once its planted well enough. also i was wondering if denisons barbs would make ok tankmates? i saw some in a 55 and their scooling was amazing

Good choice on getting the 75g, the extra couple bucks makes it well worth it.
oddball has a great half-moon angel tank. The emperor 400 will not be too much current at all. I have 4 angels currently in my community tank, with an xp2 filter that replaced a emp 400 and neither seem to cause any problems with the angels. I have also not had any problems with the angels nipping on the other fish (although a rescued guppy has disappeared, and a platy lost an eye-that could be the work of someone else though). mine are all roughly 3.5-4" as well and mixed veil with standard.

i will wait till tanks fully cycled then probably add all of the fish to the 75 in order to redo the 20 gallon. i added al the substrate today one inch of gravell topped with 1 inch riverstone with random large stone mixed in. i may get a large log and possibly add a school of small creek chub to add to the effect
