New aquarium, how many piranhas?

I used to have a group of 6 wild ones, all same size, they were all very shy and would dart whenever I walked by.
I just got 6 very small captive bred ones, and I have to say, they are extremely bold compared to what I know.

Perhaps starting from scratch is not a bad thing.
