New Aquarium Room

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have actually had another crazy idea about the aquarium room. There are a lot of contractors in the area some of which are friends and I have seen before when something could not fit through a door or a window that a crane comes in and they lift the rough and then lower whatever would not fit by lifting up and over the walls. Any ways it an extreme idea.

you'll definitely always wish you'd gone bigger if you don't!

The Company that I'm going through to place the order for the tank with has got a 12 foot long 800 gallon black back plexi glass tank (that would work for the room) and at the price their asking is a deal. Except I want a new tank.

Honestly, I have a hard time believing a 600gal tank will fit in that doorway. Probably easier to build your own tank inside. If you can sqeeze a 12ft tank through that door, props my friend. The crane method seems like the only other way. best of luck too you and i cant wait to see what it looks like finished.

Then again, Its not going to be easy to take the roof off that thing.

The room is 12 foot wide and the door is 35 inches wide hence if I keep the tank at under 35 inches wide or 12 foot long I am capable of moving the tank inside the room.

the room looks great !!!! but seriously put a larger dooooor heck the room is not evev complete and you will find the longer you have large fish the more you will need wider and wider tanks .full grown aro's will need a three foot wide tank! It's absolutly perfect Otherwise:D:headbang2

What part of cali do u live. if ur looking for some black arowana and silver aro. one place is silvers for 24.00 bucks and this other is selling black arowans for 75 they have 2 large and rest are small

I here you, however the room was a gift and am not going to start complaining. I'm going to mention some options and am going to go from there.

I'm in the Sierra Nevada foothills just east of Stockton. I already have got a Black Arowana that is 18 to 20 inches and many other fish in a 360 gallon tank. The 360 gallon tank is going in to the Aquarium room as well.

Once their in the big Tank I'm probably going to add another Black Arowana and either a high shine Platinum Silver Arowana or if I can find one a Snow Arowana.
