New Archers.....DEAD!!!

As some of you know i bought 2, 6 inch archers yesterday (see photo gallery) however today i came home to find 1 missing and 1 dead on the bottom of the tank....

maybe they didnt like the freshwater. or maybe your jardini didnt like them invading his part of the water column.......

i always thought archers were brackish water fish? Am i wrong? Maybe they haven't been acclimated properly? I'm not trying to insult your fish keeping knowledge opiate but that could be a problem. The missing fish could of jumped out because it didn't like the water conditions or the jardini ate it...

yea they are brackish water, and depending on the sp. depends on the salinity they prefer. although that would have been a longer death (depending on how long they have been in fw) and the fact that one is missing, prob means jardini was mad they were there.
