why didn't you film the strike? very cool, just stop lording the fact you have an armatus :(

i didnt think he was gonna eat it. at first he looked at it thinking it was too big, then after i turned off the camera he grabbed it. at least i saw it, there was a huge blood cloud.

Awesome looking Armatus. Amazing how he managed to get that fat goldfish down.

What Im planning on doing come spring if mine isnt off of feeders is to either risk wildcaught minnows or get a large rubbermaid tub and buy many large comets at a time and grow em out...

good idea. my guy said he will get me the comets for about $1 a piece in quantity. that wont be that bad, but i have a feeling he will take frozen soon because he looks at it alot and gets jelous when the rays are eating.

hey if your armatus doesnt get off of feeders, the only way without stavrving him to get on prepaired food is drop in like chunks of shrimp when the lights are completly off, and you can just make out the image of him..thats how i got mine to take some..

not whack for the payara! more like whack for the goldfish cause it is such a slow and tortured death. at least with smaller feeders it is much quicker and humane. ure mean.
