new aro tank mate

just added a foot long pleco. I have a 18 inches silver that kills every fish that I put in clown knife, red tail catfish, red devil all dead. would like to know if my new pleco would make it. I am at work right now and worried to find another dead fish tomorrow morning. my aro kills all his tank mates at night.

Pleco's are usually pretty tough!

Plecos are built like a tank. only weak spots on plecos are there Eyes an underbellies.

Plecos are usually pretty tough. It should be able to survive providing it has some hiding spots.

silver is on 135g by it self. tank is bare bottom with no decorations. hope my pleco will be okey. will post update tomorrow.

that tank is too small..the aro wont be able to kill the pleco unless the pleco swims with its belly exposed..then the aro will kill it.thats what my jardini did to my common pleco.

there is a chance that your aro will kill the pleco, if you want place some driftwood so that your pleco has hiding place from your aggressive aro

Plecos need some shelter, or the agressive tankmates may kill them by too much stressing, not only by agression. What type of pleco is it? Wanna see pics. With a shelter, the pleco is most probably safe with your arowana.
