Ya know I pulled the baby GuKan2 pix out and they could be identical twins except for the longer dark colored barbels and initial hog-appitite...this dood ought to be able to eat ya out of house and home quicker, LOL and no child support either... :grinyes: :screwy: :grinyes:

Uuuummmm well almost...
I'm sure everybody who has seen, or read about it,
wants to hear the feeble fable of GuKan the great...

Meiling,

I'll tell the story, and please correct me if I'm wrong...

here goes...

GuKan was a name that was given to a Very Special bloodline of Silvers,
that were mutually kept by 2 great friends.
Actually one great friend and a so-so kinda friend.

As life would have it, one of the friends had a physical problem to deal with,
and the other one had a life quest to conquer.
Both situations and conditions had to be delt with on a different level, both individually and spiritually and of course, in different locations...about 500 miles apart...

The glue that kept the last fibers of the friendship together was this special bloodline of magical Arowana.

When the one was having a major diffacult time, physically,
the magical Arowana gave a sense need. It made for a reason to carry on this long, tough, previously won battle.
There were times that caring for this Special Aro was all that could be done.
It was exausting most times, but done with care and devoted love none the less.
Providing this friend with the "heart" to go it again.

The other special friend was fighting their own demons. Confused, induced, altered...
Not having a crystal clear direction in life and having a rough go at finding the inner peace they needed, this magical arowana represented the solution that made the difference.
It represented all that was good.
It represented all that was nessasary and
It provided the understanding that balance is a fragile thing and a very integeral
part of this person that was just plain missing. In all of his previous quests the missing parts kept him from embracing sucess.
There was no balance, no moderation this friend was of excess and extreme.

Both friends wondered why the hell, were they spared, again, and again.
What in this crazy, screwed-up world were they doing here... still?

The two, came to realized what was theirs forever...
Brought together by fate and bonded by a mutual love for the magical powers of GuKan...the Special Arowana they shared.
What it was to both of these special friends at a very special time in their life is just what they needed. Exactly what they needed!

So even though these great friends have to
walk on different paths, and
be in different worlds,
time nor distance
will ever desolve what the
Magical Powers of the Arowana
did for these two special people.

GuKan.

So The fate of G is in your hands for now, but I'll call Tammy and do my haggling. (there's one benefit to growing up in the middle east! The art of bartering and haggling over a few riyals!) You wrote it well, I'll let the story rest for the sake of Gu Kann's spirit.

I hope you can finally fill that hole inside with happiness and joy from the beautiful creature in your aquarium.:)
 
Gu Ka'an was chosen as his name , it is ancient chinese from the I Ching meaning "to Eliminate Darkness" I guess in his death, he saved a live, maybe 2.

May Gu Kaan the next carry on the legacy....
 
Pop's is near again, and that's so cool.
He's back...
We got the house!
5 mins after we met the folks...
No Questions...Move in next Weds.
It's big, spacious, got a garden patio on the northwest corner of the big lot,
nice grass lotz of flowers,
clean spirited, feel_no evil around, perfect for healing
and 1 block from the Ocean...View from the upstairs B/R and a big tub
Great things are finnally happening here...
as soon as he swam the waters, it was
like night and Day...
I almost couldn't belive my eyes and ears...you'll see ;) Peace...
 
Nice looks alot like mie but yours looks better.. mine i think is in shock from the stress of my outher fish picking on it so i toulk the oscars out .. :)
