i dont test for ph, the afro is currently in my big tank but i put a divider. the dimensions are 3'x2'x2'. should i do water change 50% a week or 20% everyday
and the temp is at 83
thanks
There's so many variables in that question. There's not really a set # for water changes. You need to check your water parameters and change water accordingly. If your water parameters are good then there's no need to change the water or LOL most likely your test kit is bad
Large water changes cause more stress than more frequent smaller water changes. With the younger African Aros you need to constantly feed and there's a lot of uneaten food. Your best bet is to set up a constant trickle system. Test the water frequently and throttle up or back the water flow into your tank until you get good numbers. Good luck and take some pics!
