Yup once he gets about 8 inches he'll be pretty solid. The 3-6" is when they usually die. Seems like you're doing well so far, let us know if he eats.

Today he ate a few bloodworms and a superworm. I'm still trying to get him to take freeze dried krill. I'm also trying to offer him small pieces of jumbo carnistick

Just an update, his fins are looking better and he's eating good now. I fed him bloodworms this morning and little pieces of salmon tonight. Things are looking good for him and it makes me feel great that I (fingers crossed) have saved this little guy.

It's good to hear the little guy is doing better. Clean water and good food and he'll be on his wat to Monster status for sure.
