I recently moved to Harbin, China and i got myself 3 arowana's to start with.
2 silvers
1 green? ( i might be wrong.. )
i am new to this... so all suggestions/comments are welcome
when i purchased the (green) arowana, the salesman told me it was a gold.... but then i don't think it is?

maybe a jardini??

even though the pix quaility makes it harder to tell, u can't deny those jar treats...the sales lied to u, hopefully he didn't rip u off too much. anyways, like wut Eken said, definitely watch out for the jar's aggressive behavior, cuz when the slivers are @ almost the same size as the jar, they're no match for its monstracity
and how big is ur tank?

that's jardini..
and you should aware.
that jar is aggresive..
maybe tou should add other ..
aro's are territorial :irked: :irked: :irked:

anyway....that's scene so nice

my tank is a 80g. i bought my silver aro's for 55$ RMB ( china )each and the jardini for 130RMB . 1$ u.s. = 7.58RMB(china) :]

im pretty sure i need to upgrade my tank .. prolly get a 180? 250?

Nice lookin aros, definitly will need a bigger tank and keep your old one handy in case you need to seperate that jardini. Easiest way to tell the diff. between an asian aro and a jar, is the asian aro will only have 5 rows of scales on its side.

Sweet deal! $17 US for a jar.. you cant even get one in US or Canada at that price!!

Nice!!

and $7.5 for a silver... SWEET!!

and I thought a $25 is cheap here... grrrr!!
