Hello I'm going to ask, I've just bought new silver yesterday and today he's sometimes swims with it's tail and fins clamped down, and he's often just idle at the top of the tank with his head up and his tail down (still clamped tho) looked like this... Because he's just new to the tank, I'am not giving him any food and he's also dont want to eat yesterday. is there anything wrong with him?

Tank Size : 100 cm(L) * 70 cm (H) * 50cm (W)
Water Param :
PH : 7
Alkalinity : 40-80
Nitrite : 0
Free Chlorine : 0
Total Chlorine : 0
Hardness : 400
Ammonia : 0 (from seachem ammonia alert)

Oh yeah I also forgot to mention the tankshas been running for 1 month and his tank mates are 1 Bichir Senegalus (which very happy fish and lively) and 1 Bichir Delzehi.

That light startles . Please dim the light , baby arowanas tend to get stressed pretty fast. Water parameters seem fine . I've seen arowanas at the lfs do this when they have internal parasites due to live feeding. So that could be a possibility with your fish too.
What do you feed?
kno4te kno4te Rocksor Rocksor tlindsey tlindsey could be of more help.

I agree with what ..puSkar.. ..puSkar.. has stated. Also the little Silver Aro needs to eat. The Aro looks like it's fins are starting to clamp.

Reduce the lighting. Provide some floating plants if able. Bichirs going up for air will stress out the arowana. Check ur nitrates as well. I’d try and lower the water level so it doesn’t hit the lid. Make sure u have a lid if none.

Last night i was turning off all the light resources and then he just like that condition.. Earlier when he arrived at my tank (I also let him stay in his plastic bag with oxygen floating in my tank for 1 hr) he was scared and sitting at the bottom of the tank, then later he was rubbing his head in the tank glass (left side then right side)...

Now his condition like this... I also change the water 20% apllying water conditioner (chlorine remover, blackwater vita liquid) 3 hr ago.. IMG_20210727_121346.jpg
As for the food i think the lfs use feeder fish (which is mollies that pretty cheap and common around here) for myself I already prep mealworms and gonna feed him with the white one (mealworms that already shed its skin)

Alright noted ?I'll add some floating plant for them then. As for the tank I already have lid for it since some/all of the predator fish are jumpers...

Am I reading the test kit differently than others?
I read ph between 7 and 7.5 and a hardness reading off the scale high.
Which, depending on the conditions of the LFS would be a problem to me.
What’s the reason for so much of the hard coral shells?

Hardness seemed fishy to me too, but as I don't know much about hardness I didn't comment on it.

As for the corals i used it as filtration since my tank have filtration in the back of the tank. Yep the hardeness are high, I already used the anti chlorine with enough dosage though...
