about its food... try to give him a good variety of pellets/live foods and if u can make market prawns as its staple food, the better!

now go get urself ur own christmas gift and buy a friggin camera! :D

Congrat!! It's always something to look forward to after work.:) Meanwhile, starve her abit and when you wanna intro pellets or foodsticks to her, break it into a very small mouth size feeding so that she will be more willing to try.:)

I have my secong aro now. I have never had any problems with him taking pellets. Just try a cpl for the first time and see if he accepts them. if not you may have to starve a day of so b4 he will take them. Mine has taken hikari carnivore sticks and pellets as well as tetra cichlid and food sticks with no problems. OH yeah congrats on the new aro!

Tried the tetra foodsticks, very messy whenever the fish chew on them I've say....

Well yesterday, i tried a few pellets and it took one in and spit it out. I got it to eat a piece of krill though. So i'm happy with that. It seems so happy and active.
One question though. I know arowanas spend most of their time on the top, but mine swims around the whole tank. It will swim around the bottom and middle quite often, but spends most of the time swimming the top. It is rarely ever still. Is this normal for it to swim around the whole tank?
