They look great and showing a lot of color. I think this sp. really does best in groups.
 
I've got 6 in the 3.5-5" range that i cant seem to get rid of..lol. If i had i bigger tank i'd keep them. All they do is hide all day. The wild ones i have are the complete opposite. Good luck with yours, they do look really good for that size
 
Because the back of the tank is painted black, large patches of algae, and the back 1/3 is heavily planted, mine will quickly disappear into the darkness if startled, but seem to just as quickly reappear. Actually less skittish so far, than I expected them to be by reputation.
 
Little update, it has been about 5 months since they arrived and about 3 months since a posted pic.

Believe all 15 still alive and kicking


Kind of a stretch geographically, there are only so many tanks, their only tankmates, 3 Betta edithae
