New arrivals: Channa sp. Fluoro Green, Mbu, Rays...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
cheers pat. The channa is a light green but has fluorescent flashes on it fins

The mbu is a massive waste generator with a prediliction for regurgitating meals. This will cause some problems with maintenance for the pristine water rays demand. Not to mention that the mbu prefers hard water with the pH on the alkaline side while your rays prefer soft water on the acidic side.

I'd rethink the setup so these specimens have a better chance of making it to the show-stoppers they have the potential of becoming.

Wow, nice risk taking combo....hope it works out!

thanks guys.

Everywhere in the south east of england is hard water so these retics have been born and quarantined in hard water. it is requiring daily sweeps of the waste which i'm quite prepared for. Just wanna get the mbu bulked up and used to hand feeding for a month or so and then he'll go in the big tank. If i put him in there now he wouldn't stand a chance of getting fed with the dats and the aro eating everything far too quickly.

hope it works so that you can have one of those unusual set-ups.
love the black and white gravel tho!

How much did the rays cost you? There nice.
