AJ has a 14" female retic that has a total length of about 30". I have seen pictures of her in a 180. She is a big fish.

Not sure on the red retics, but they stay small. I believe they are a different species than the regular retics. Time will tell but thats just my opinion.
Another update. All are eating well and I see movement on one of the females. I'm 90% sure she is gravid. Ever heard of rays pregnant at 6"? Whatever species these turn out to be they are definitely something new. I'm still trying to get a good shot of the under side of a couple of them. Way different than retic undersides.
